We are delighted to welcome you to the newly redesigned FireLotus — a free platform bringing authentic Buddhist teachings to English-speaking learners around the world.
For over four decades, Khenpo Sodargye has devoted his life to teaching the Dharma, at Larung Gar Buddhist Academy and around the world — guiding students from foundational practices to the profound teachings of Vajrayana and Dzogchen.
Today, this rich body of teachings is being steadily translated into English and made freely available on FireLotus. With over a thousand videos and more continually being added, the platform offers extensive and systematic teachings on Buddhist sutras and classical texts, mind training and meditation, the teachings of Guru Rinpoche, Vajrayana practice, and much more.
Another distinctive part of FireLotus is its growing collection of university lectures and public talks.
Since 2010, Khenpo Sodargye has engaged with students and faculty at leading universities — from Harvard and Oxford to campuses across Asia — as well as with audiences in corporate settings, prisons, and other communities. These talks explore how timeless Buddhist wisdom can engage with contemporary questions of science, ethics, psychology, happiness, and everyday life.
More of these talks are being translated into English and will continue to be added to FireLotus.
